Easy Ads exists for the person who has a business and a budget but has never opened Facebook Ads Manager. It’s the highest-volume product I’ve worked on, with more than 210,000 users.
Problem
Ad platforms are built for marketers. For everyone else, the first campaign is a wall of unfamiliar choices: objectives, audiences, placements, bidding. Most people bounce before they ever spend a dollar. Easy Ads had to collapse that wall into a few plain questions.
My role
I worked on the front end, building the guided campaign flows and wiring the interface to the Facebook Marketing API and Google Ads API. A large part of the job was making ad-platform complexity disappear behind a calm, linear experience.
Key decisions
I built the UI in Vue 3 + Tailwind CSS, optimizing for clarity over configurability — every screen asks one thing. Behind that simplicity, the app talks to two very different ad APIs and normalizes them into a single flow, so users never learn that Facebook and Google model campaigns differently.
Outcomes
- 210,000+ users have launched campaigns through the tool.
- Facebook and Google campaigns run from one consistent, beginner-friendly flow.
- AI-generated copy and audience recommendations remove the blank-page problem that stops first-time advertisers.
Lessons
Scale changes what “good UX” means. At 210,000 users, every extra field is thousands of people confused, and every clear default is thousands who succeed. Designing for the least experienced user — and letting AI handle the blank page — is what made the product work at that volume.
